Brought last Thursday's and Friday's Calendar pages with me to work today.  So today and tomorrow you get double goodness.

Thanksgiving:

What color socks did the Cubs wear in 1900?

Today:

Who did the Cubs receive when they traded Billy Williams to the A's?

The Cubs got Sweet Swinging Manny Trillo, Daryl Knowles, and Bob Locker.

I'll say the socks were florescent orange.

Manny "Don't insult someone by calling me Babe" Trillo was right.

Red socks are right as well.

These were the rest of the folks.

Flourescent orange would have been sweet.

When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought it said "Wooden Socks" and I got all excited.

I also want to say that I just heard the bit about the Cubs wearing red socks the other day on MLBtv. I thought I was having Deja Vu.

Hey, no need to talk about socks for your wood.  Let's keep this thread clean.
