I hate to rouse the rabble, but sometimes the content does it for me. Just fucking sign Tanaka and shut some motherfuckers up for a few weeks.

That would be nice.

Worst case scenario from an rage-hate standpoint - the Cubs trade for an outfielder that the rabble haven't heard of but the stats indicate should be very good for the Cubs.  Then we'd have the "dumping prospects" hate, the "abandoning the plan" hate, the "stupid plan" hate, the "Theo got robbed" hate, the "Ricketts is cheap" hate, the "I don't like statistics" hate, and the "I'm smarter than they are so they should just follow my plan" hate all packed into a solid mass of self-feeding, vitriolic nonsense.

And as a result the Cubs marketing team, who quite probably keep an eye on the comments here, decide to drink their way through all the beers in the beer thread.

If thats the case im not sure why they havent hired me for director of building survival.

Nattys for all and for all and terriblw hangover!

They'll be healthier for it.

Scientific fact: Reading the comments raises your blood pressure an average of 560.4%.

The front-page comments are so full of gold, I am surprised that The Prospector hasn't come around.

Welcome, hansman1982. You must be new to the Internet.

(That wasn't even the first time today that I used as much or more to accomplish as little or less.)

This internet thing is pretty cool.  (as I typed that, I was picturing Michael Palin (from Monty Python) performing it)

That's really weird, because as you typed that, I was picturing John Cleese.
