Can someone explain the procedure for adding a pic to your profile?

It may take a little time to populate throughout, but if you're set to use gravatar, it should be showing up both places.

Hmmmm - are you using Gravatar? If so, what "rating" does your Gravatar have?Brett, my pic shows up on the main site, but not here. I posted in Lake, Vitters, Sczcur on January 9 and again today, but still have the stock avatar. Any suggestions?
If it isn't that, when you look at your profile here, is it set to pull your avatar from Gravatar?
Do you use the same email address on the board as you do on the blog? And is that the same email address you have associated with your Gravatar account?

I think you have to create an account here Cubsin. I had the same issue when I first started using the message boards. You can have your gravatar show up on the main page, but I had to create an account here. Look in the upper right hand corner of the message board screen. It should show you as logged in as 'Cubsin' and it should say 'Sign Out' next to it. If this is not the case, you probably need to create an account.
If your name does appear, click on it to get the drop down menu and go to your profile. Once there, you should see an edit profile button. Click on that and you can upload any pic you want (except for a Twinkie).

There it is. Excellent.Fixed. I edited my message board profile and selected by Gravitar pic.
