That’s ok. I’d be perfectly happy with the most boring 6-2 win ever.
The Cubs return home after a mostly unsuccessful West Coast road swing, and now they face the Reds for three at Wrigley. Taking two of these three games is pretty important, and tonight’s looks as winnable as any in the series. Especially if Kyle Hendricks’ ongoing mechanical adjustments really take hold.
Joe Maddon changes things up in the lineup once again, with Kyle Schwarber getting a start behind the plate, and Kris Bryant heading out to right field. Tommy La Stella will play at third, and Starlin Castro’s hot bat stays in the lineup.
