My company, MBX Systems, is sponsoring a team of runners "MBXcares" this year at the Race to Wrigley 5K. Each runner and team is encouraged to raise money for the Lurie Children's hospital. The hospital treats 148,000 children each year and relies on philanthropic support to keep their doors open. I frequent the main Bleacher Nation site on a daily basis, but I haven't posted on the message board before. I'm reaching out to fellow Bleacher Nation readers to see if you would be willing to sponsor me as a runner for this charity.
I haven't participated in a fundraiser as an adult before, so I don't have any past experience to help with setting my fundraising goal. However, since I was a child I've always dreamed about running the bases at Wrigley. If I reach $1,000, I can live that dream.
Please support me as a runner and support the children of Lurie Children's hospital by clicking the link below and donating.
