Today we will try a little trivia question:

What was Antonio Alfonseca's knickname, and what did it mean?

Um, trick question he is was and will always be Dick Tidrow's nephew so I'm not going to get on his bad side. The rest of you tread lightly or else this New Year will also be your last year.

he had 6 fingers and 6 toes

I shook his hand once when he played for the Charlotte Knights along with Edgar Rentereria..... He would scratch the bottom of your hand with the extra finger. It was quite creepy.

11 year career, 2 hits(Both in 2002!). I recall one of them was an extra inning game winner that was as pathetic of a hit as I've ever seen. It was like a Bugs Bunny cartoon and just hopped in between all the infielders.

I am now officially against the continued posting of these questions/facts.

If you are going to make me do things like "remember Antonio Alfonseca," then this will be detrimental to my health and well-being...
And that's a bad miss...

I think he gave himself that name, back in his D&D days.

I was hoping it was a nickname he was given by his teammates along the lines of "slumpbuster", because of all the lovely ladies he was slaying.
