How about it? The Cubs are going for the sweep today. They’ve had a lot of those this year, but they haven’t been able to pull it off against the Cardinals.
Jon Lester’s been awfully hot of late, and maybe the Cardinals won’t be able to run wild on him now that he can throw to first base (probably). Or maybe he just won’t allow any baserunners and it won’t matter.
I’ll be taking this one in from the grandstand (Aisle 424), so the EBS is likely to be a little later than usual again.
