Just imagine what this would have been like if Lucas went with his original name of Luke Starhopper. Star Wars could have been a silly B-movie but instead it is the ultimate pop-culture reference for those of us in our 30/40s.
If you saw any of the the original trilogy in the theaters and own any of the Mattel toys you are lying if you haven't spend considerable time in your life trying to move things with the Force. In fact I think your lying if you deny that you still don't try it from time to time.
Shit. Busted. Last week actually. My mother said I didn't blink once when she took me to the original movie.
I always thought Burke Badehop could be a coach for the Gundarks. Pitch? No. Not on my team...

"When you were a baby in your crib...your father looked down on you and had one wish...someday my son will grow to be a man"
"And you just got your a%#es whipped by a bunch of g%#damn nerds...NERDS!"
They just don't make movies like Revenge of the Nerds anymore...or STAR WARS for that matter.
Great post Oswego Chris...I love STAR WARS. Especially Jar Jar Binks! He is my favorite.
