Is it just me or has BetterNews turned a new leaf. His comments the last couple of days have been constructive.

Don't celebrate yet folks, but the fact he has informed us that Garza will not be traded is a good start. If he continues to post good comments I'll be sure to reply to see if an intelligent response continues. But I'm glad that he finally "respected my authority" (in my best Cartmen).

So BetterNews is back to his old ways, I engaged him in a civil conversation and he 1-told me the FBI should "watch me" and 2-that I want to imprison people. Brett gave him his final warning this morning. Bets on how many days before he gets banned.

Good, the FBI comment wasn't nearly as bad as the comment that I would imprison people who spoke of race. I hadn't even commented on that thread! But to attack my profession was really low and childish... I'm telling you he is under 18.

I will always agree and engage rational responses that avoid personal attacks or is a repeat of what’s been said. You’ve been much better in responses, no insults, no repeating the same point over and over- that will result in replies and discussions.

Nah, you only want to be “rational” when it benefits you! Like I said, I believe you have a long past history of trying to humiliate people. And you teach children?

Once again, you’ve really, really crossed the line, BetterNews. The implication of your comment is completely inappropriate, unnecessary, and will not be tolerated. Taking it to that kind of personal level will never be OK.

You would be best served to stick exclusively to commenting about the Cubs. This is your final warning.

Yes. But by the same token, MichanGoat needs to be reprimanded. He is NOT the BN police. Or is he? That was the reason for my comment a couple of days ago(Gestapo). Someone trying to feed disinformation about a person and the humiliation tactic! I try to stick to Cubs commentary only, but MG is a !@@& trying to piss people off.

Yes it is the teacher but also knowing that he is very close to being banned. I see it as fighting to keep the main board, if we don't keep a voice there then these voices will become the norm.

I agree that we need to keep our voices heard on the main page. I'm just starting to get better at ignoring the idiots. I used to bang my little wooden head against my desk constantly.
