Arrogance. Can't stand people that go out of their way to appear intellectual. It's just baseball fucktard.

Ditto. But it was only two beers at the time for me (Stella and a Spaten Optimator - did I do good, MG?).

People who say "I could care less."

That phrase means nothing...
And that's a bad miss...

Good work my friend. Optimator is amazing and although I'm not a fan of lagers Stella is the best. Yous alls grows up.

Whatevers, I could care less.

In all seriousness after working for years in urban schools my tolerance for these pet peeves has dramatically increased. But my top pet peeves with students is "I don't care" when ever they are faced with a failing grade.

saying "Player X is going to be a Sox this season"

Stop it.

Say "Player X is a going to be on the Sox"

or

"Player X is a White Sox Player"

None of this plural crap. He is not a Sox.

It offends the ears!

To put in context with another team: Sammy Sosa is not a former Cubs.

He is a former Cubs player or a former Cub.

I have to laugh when I hear it from the mouth of a fan,
but just annoying when spoken by a member of the media.

Robbo I believe the singular and plural of Sox is Sox, it's been years nice my study of Latin but I believe singular words that end in X have no changes when becoming plural. It would be wrong to say Soxes or Soxs for the plural.
