Not sure if everyone has seen it already, but I thought I'd post it here just in case.

It looks like it was a 97mph fastball he crushed.

Yea, he killed it, but it worries me that he was almost certainly sitting fastball in that situaiton. I know players do "guess" pitches sometimes, but he was wwaaayyy out in front of that, which means he was looking fastball the whole way, and that can be a sign of a problematic approach for a hitter. Still, though, he destroyed that ball.

That is an excellent point. I never considered how he turned on a 97mph fastball like that. Let's hope we can ring it up to just good scouting of the opposing pitcher!
