Chris Carpenter is my bet.
(I think that's a bit too much, but it's just a gut feeling. Seems like someone more like an Austin Kirk or a Aaron Kurcz type should be more appropriate.)

This is the first time I have felt some urgency around finally settling the Theo compensation issue. Any piece added in the off season is hard to evaluate as part of the whole when one of your other pieces is going to suddenly evaporate.
Boston chatter is heating up around the high end of compensation and it REALLY bothers me that Boston has just jetisoned BOTH of their big league shortstops with no real replacement ready. No I don't think that will happen. But, it could.
