Or it's following the signs. I don't know how much Quade controls that part of the game, but young guys don't usually get green lights with a 3-0 count.Castro is still making some really dumb mistakes. Like having bases loaded, a 3-0 count and swinging away. That's just dumb...or arrogant.

Maybe. Or he's just hopelessly desperate to get to 200 hits despite an ever-decreasing (to the point of a problem) OBP.Or it's following the signs. I don't know how much Quade controls that part of the game, but young guys don't usually get green lights with a 3-0 count.

I don't disagree in the least.Brett, 16 games left counting today, Castro needs 13 hits....desperate now equals dumb. Yeah the kid is good, going to get better...maybe, but right now someone needs to slap him upside the head and get his attention.

I feel good about the future. I guess that's what makes me a Cubs fan...Hopefully that all changes next year.
. Poor mgmt just can't escape this team.

I'm busted.Sounds like you just said "Wait until next year!"
This organization has a lot of upside potential.
