Is it? I guess maybe, given that this shit wasn't supposed to happen anymore, and he's one of the biggest starts - supposed to be a shining example of virtue. It makes me feel ill that it's totally in MLB's interest to find some magical loophole that allows Brown to be "completely cleared" of the test results.
On the other hand, I'm not sure MLB wants to send the signal to other players that the testing program lacks teeth.

He'd enjoy thatOh, and I hate to be presumptuous but I think I speak for the group when I say fuck Ryan Braun. Fuck him in his ear.
I'm sure he would but as we've discussed here, if he's got the gift that keeps on giving, I'm steering clear. Plus, he's a BREWER for crying out loud. I have standards.
And Tommy, you are killing me with the vid! Love it!
Al: With every bullet, so far.

Really? Just in this post there's "F*ck Braun" and 'Braun's a donger' and 'I can't believe they are finding loopholes for this guy'....and other sites, its the same animoisity out of Cub fans.Seems funny to me that when other guys were either accused or suspected of having used PEDs, everybody was really quick to condemn them; call them cheaters, stains on baseball, SOBs, the whole bit but somehow with Ryan Braun there's more of a "ahh poor fella, let's hope he proves the tests wrong" thing going on. I wonder why that is.

I can see it that way, too. I think that MLB would have a different perspective if he hadn't have won the MVP award. I expect there was an awful lot of "oh, for fuck's sake!" in the league offices that day.Is it? I guess maybe, given that this shit wasn't supposed to happen anymore, and he's one of the biggest starts - supposed to be a shining example of virtue.
