This article (looks like the writer is just speculating on catchers that might be available) mentions the Rays having interest in adding a veteran catcher and as able/willing to part with a decent pitcher in either Neimann or Davis. I'd do it for either one in a heartbeat and just let Castillo & Clevenger battle it out for the ABs. Thoughts?

Personally, I think Soto has more value than this right now. He's arguably a top-5 catcher in the ML. Davis or Niemann don't thrill me.

agreed.. Soto has been and can be a top 5 catcher depending on which Soto shows up this year.

I would be okay with them trading Soto and bringing in a vet like Pudge or Varitek to mentor whoever wins the starting position.
