Totally not my intent. This stems from a coworker that tries to bash me all the time because I don't like all the stuff SHE likes. She insists in telling me in great detail the previous nights American Idol competition, or other such drivel. Like I give a flaming rats ass. I've politely told her about 3,000 times that I don't watch the show and I don't care. But she thinks the more she tells me about it, that suddenly I'll watch it and love it.

Katie, you are already being pulled in and you don't even realize it. You'll be at a bar and it will be on the TV and there will be nothing else worth paying attention to (Maybe because AI is on the TV.) and you will see someone, some story or a name that you recognize from your friend yammering on about it and you WILL watch it because you are familiar with it. Keep fighting while you have the strength, li'l buddy. But this battle is pretty much over.

As to what you're saying about being pulled in, I'm not worried. She's been at it for over 5 years and I still haven't watched an episode yet. Not even at the bar. Of course none of the shit hole bars I hang out in would ever have AI on the TV. There would be mutiny.
