I was just looking through the 2011 rosters of the Cardinals and the Rangers in an effort to put off cleaning the house before the wife gets home. It seems that the Saint Louis Cardinals had the most Ex Cubs in the World Series...and they won. Is the Ex Cub factor now defunkt? Could the drought soon be over for us?

I think it was proven not to be a factor long ago. Can't recall specific evidence, but its there. Unfortunately, I have stuff I can't put off anymore or I would look it up.

She'll be home soon, I better get started too. Why is it I hear the Dragnet theme music in my head?

The Dbacks were definitely the curse breakers.

Yup they had Grace, Gonzalez, and Batista. I don't recall any former Cubs on the Yankees roster

There have been two teams prior to this past year that broke the Ex-Cubs Factor, the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates and the aforementioned 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks.
