Just a random time passer until Cubs announce Garza is traded on Friday...

Who's your favorite current Cub? New guy? Old guy? Why?

I decided Ian Stewart is my new favorite. And I haven't a clue why. Won't guarantee he'll ever live up to his "Potential". I just decided I like him the best. Getting my Stewart jersey for my birthday. Hope sticks around for a while.

I think I like Travis Wood. That is to say, I could see him doing surprisingly well, and I'd like to see that. Ditto Volstad. So, I guess, them.

I'll go with Castro since I see him a one of the few current Cubs that will be around, but Kerry is the old time favorite. I expect I'll be excited about Rizzo and possibly even T Wood in the future.

Rizzo is definitely my favorite of the new guys...though I am most excited about T. Wood. Rizzo's story is just too cool...
And that's a bad miss...

Castro I remember when he came up I was in a fantasy league and I had just missed pick him up. Later that year I was looking to get my first jersey and was looking for his but I could not find it anywhere. so I ended up getting ARam.

I really, reeealllyyy, like watching videos of Vogelbach swing the bat. Easily my favorite player in the whole system.

But if I had to take a current Cub, I'd choose either Kerry Wood (for sentimental reasons, hes the reason I ever wanted to be a pitcher) or Garza, who is a crazy MF'er and I love it

Mine used to be D Lee for a multitude of reasons. Now, I think either Reed Johnson or Tony Campana. I guess it because I love guys who play hard and aren't big mashers. I love guys who create problems on the basepads for the opposing team's pitcher, and I love good OBP. I'm not a long ball type of chick.

I know people like to rag on Campana but I think he's got a lot of potential.
Peg: Oh Al! Did you miss me?
Al: With every bullet, so far.

Right now, I'd have to go with Garza. I really enjoy watching him pitch. Now, if he could just learn to field his position.

That is exactly where I was going to go with it until I read down through the thread. She definitely brings ++ tools.
