Which Cubs coach filled in for Whitey Lockman on May 8,1973, when he was ejected from a game in the 11th inning?

Was it Mr. Cub? I think he was coaching around then?

I remember Whitey Lockman, but I honestly do not remember Ernie coaching.

If I recall correctly, he went almost straight to coaching after he quit playing. I don't think it lasted very long.
And that's a bad miss...

I believe he was a player/coach in '71.
