If you’ve been around baseball long enough, you’ve probably come across (or remember) Mark Buehrle’s famous behind the back flip, running off the mound on a slow roller to first base.
It’s basically a classic:
Well, Trevor Cahill of the Angels must’ve been familiar with it too, because when a similarly slow roller came towards him off the bat of Jonathan Schoop last night, he tried his best to re-create another classic.
It … did not work:
And yet, I think we’ll remember this for a while.
