The funny part is my Dad was "run out" of small time livestock farming in the early 80's due to the factory farms but now would make a killing doing the same and calling it organic.

Now I'm going to get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I eat a burrito.

There is something romantic about a perfect burrito.

Michael_Pollan was my entree into the kind of thinking underlying that Chipotle's ad. (Pollan's chapter on Joel Salatin in Omnivore's Dilemma was particularly eye-opening.) He introduces the "literary conceit" on which he bases Botany of Desire on TED tv at the link above.

And Willy has been a favorite of mine since I found him while escaping disco music in the 70's. Of course Willy's is a farming connection.

Thanks, Brett.

I always get warm fuzzy feelings when I eat burritos. Especially when I eat the "burrito as big as your head" from The Flying Burrito.

I'm fairly certain that "burritos as big as your head" are from LaBamba's in Champaign, IL.

Coincidentally, those same burritos are "as big as your toilet" about 8 hours later.

You could be right. I know it was in a college town in either Illinois or Indiana, but my memory is a little fuzzy. I just remember the "as big as your head" slogan.

I think we need a current denizen as the arbiter. Hey, TC! Settle this, please.
