Anybody up for an opening day double header. Starting the afternoon at a local establishment for the Cubs opening day game, and then heading on over to Principal Park for the ICubs night game opener? Just looking to see if there is any interest among the central Iowa contingency?

I would love to, but I won't be able to be in Chicago for Opening Day (as far as I know). My first trip of the season will be in the second week (during which I'll be planning an informal get-together - I'll be in the Bleachers on Thursday the 12th, and then at a bar in the area on Friday the 13th).

I would be down for that. Goat, I wouldn't mind having ya, but the wife takes issues with me inviting random dudes I met on the internet over after the "incident"

I'm down. I usually go with the Waveland bar crowd. $10 gets you a ticket and into the tailgating in the North lot. All the food and crappy beer you can drink prior to first pitch. It's a great deal and they have a huge turnout every year.

Looks like the Chiefs will be in Wisconsin on the 12th and 13th. You might get a shot to see Baez and Vogelbach while you're in that part of the world. Of course, living in Ohio, Peoria might travel somewhat close to you anyway.

About two weeks or so before Opening Day is when I go in and get on the list & pay my money. I'll give everyone on here a heads up if they want to do the same. It's always been a great time.
