One week after dominating the Baltimore Ravens offense, the Bears started Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers with another defensive touchdown. On a 1st-and-10 play just outside the red zone, the Panthers tried rolling in a bit of trickeration in their offense with an option pitch that went all kinds of wrong for Carolina.
With a scramble drill underway, safety Eddie Jackson was in the right place at the right time to scoop up the free ball, navigate the sideline without stepping out of bounds, and take it all the way back for a touchdown.
For the second straight week, the Bears’ defense is off to a strong start. Let’s see if they can keep it up against a first-place Panthers team.
