Y'know... we obviously can't read too much ...well ANYTHING .. into the ST games, but it sure is disappointing to start out 0-2, and then be down early in the 3rd game 0-2. But, talking myself down off the ledge, Sori just banged one out a little bit ago, to get within one. And AHA! checking the score, I see the Cubs are now UP 4-2 (we'll see how long THAT lasts!).

(I can't listen to the game on the 'net at work... it's blocked. I can get around the blocking, but being that I'm the IT mgr for the plant, it just wouldn't look good, y'know!) I also can't listen to the airwaves, as I'm surrounded by steel, concrete and all sorts of radio signal blocking sh...tuff.

Before I noticed the cubs were up by two, in an effort to try and console myself, I looked at the ST stats to-date. A few areas of concern that I had, carried over from last year were errors being committed by fielders and walks by pitchers. I was pleasantly surprised that There have only been one error (before todays game) and the walks have totaled 7 (5 of which by two pitchers (Beliveau - 3 and Carillow 2).

Also the ground into double plays was concerning and so far, just two, both by players that probably won't be on the major roster...

So... I feel better...

Nice outing by Coleman. I like that he's getting some ground balls. That's a good sign for him.

Clearly, Sori loves to be a DH. We need to make a scouting video of Soriano as a DH and send it to every AL GM, stat!
