The first televised game of the Spring, and we'll probably have to listen to Hawk...

I will just have to drink lots of beers to drown out Hawk. I have been in class for most of the first couple of games and don't get WGN radio here, so this will be my first game of the year. Can't wait.

Hawk? ::shudders::

The last time I had to hear Hawk call a game was a Cubs-Sox game two years or so ago in May. I was visiting my brother in LA... hung over on the couch... listening to the WORST play-by-play announcer in the world.

Fortunately, Pat and Zonk are back on the radio today. Anyone now who the dude was that was calling the game with Len yesterday?

I think that was the radio voice of the Tennessee Smokies.

I don't have anything to do today. I think I'm going to play a drinking game and do a shot every time there's a put out.

I will be watching with the TV on mute! Love that the Cubs are on tv but could do without having to listen to Hawk.

Tuning in for the game and getting to catch the last 3 minutes of Walker Texas Ranger, can this day get any better?

Great day to have the first televised game. My vacation starts in 30 minutes (except when I get called and have to go back in for a bit(Gotta love being salary)). I'll have to see how the radio sinks with the televised game.

Very royal my lord. It's is decreed that "Fuck Ya" is the offical slogan of game day threads.

Does Hawk remind anyone else of Buddy Garritty from Friday Night Lights?

Sounds like they're at Cameltoe Ranch today.
Peg: Oh Al! Did you miss me?
