LaHair singles to right - that's five straight hits for the Cubs. Arroyo must be working on his fastball only.

First thing Len says about Bronson Arroyo? Long, lustrous hair.

It's his one true redeeming feature, and it's not even long enough.

Two summers ago I was visiting in-laws in the Cincinnati area, watching a Cubs/Reds game. The intro to the damn game was Arroyo singing some nu-country crap song about ... something. I honestly don't remember, I just remember my absolute horror. Fortunately, my wife's kinfolk don't hid their whiskey well, and I quickly drowned it away.

Stewart rips one to deep right...

Meanwhile, 2000 miles away in Minnesota, Kyle feels suddenly ill....

Good to hear Barney consistently placing his hits where the defense isn't. That's a great skill for a future utility infielder / pinch hitter to have.

Darwin Barney is getting a lot of hits this Spring. Nothing would please me more than for him to totally shut my mouth this year by putting up surprisingly good offensive numbers.

Why would they ship wood in from Pennsylvania to build the furniture in Wisconsin? Doesn't Wisconsin have trees?

I ponder these things as I listen to commercials.

Mentally noting that Samardzija is going to have given up at least one more run than he should have.

And my heart breaks just a little bit more...

I hope someone is taping everyone of Soriano's spring bombs and making a video for AL GMs.
Please don't feed the psychos.

Barney picked off... Isn't that like 100 Cubs picked off this season?
