Yeah, that was just rotten luck on BJax. I made the same mistake in a mock draft, only instead of getting someone with a good chance to be good (like Jackson), I wound up with a guy who had actually retired. Thank goodness for mock drafts.

Not a promising inning by Wood right now.

So glad I drafted him.

Welp, is it too early to say the 4 and 5 SP race is between Wells, Volstad and Samardjiasdfasfa?

Agreed. He hasn't been able to find the strike zone, and when he does, they're lighting him up. Also, Johnson is not looking very competent in LF. The costly error and it sounded like that last double could have been due to his being out of position.

I'd say Volstead and Samardzija are in the driver seat right now. Wells looked awfully good in relief the other day.

Ugh, this Cubs six packs commercial on the mlb.com broadcast is getting on my nerves... Loving the Black Keys and Grouplove intro's though.

Sounds like Stewart nearly missed his first spring homer.

Stewart with an opposite field double. If he can keep doing that during the season, the Cubs offense won't be so worryingly anemic.

Len's great, but his voice sounds a little funny on the radio sometimes, no?

When I have a slow connection, his voice gets all low, and he sounds weird. It happens to some extent to everybody, but it is more pronounced with him.

My wife HATES baseball. But she LOVES Len's voice. LOVES it. Blows her mind that he looks like that with a voice like he's got.

Am I missing anything? Had to go home and fix a leaky old window. We win the World Series yet?
