{{video removed - see above}}

In the 11 years that I've lived here on the coast, there have been 2 beached (dead) whales and a few dead seals and whatnots within 15/20 minutes or so from my place. The seals they usually leave, but I distinctly remember them blowing up a whale... and failing to succeed, leaving only slightly-smaller whale chunks all over the place.

And, fwiw, my BN friends, these animals take a looooooooooong time to disappear from the beach. And they stink. Holy hell, do they stink.

So the second man is a photographer, the third man is blind. I'm assuming there is something important we should know about the first man. What we do know is that he has big boots on, and that he wasn't totally bothered by the rotting, stinky whale on the beach. Hmm...

No. Just friends.

Not a bad guess, but no.

I may have to remember that one for later, but no.

Is the first man a rancher?

No.

Yes. The boots with the accent point to a western rancher / cowboy type guy.

And that solves it. On the beach was a dead whale. The first man, being a rancher, was used to seeing dead animals, but not whales. Instead of being grossed out, he was interested in seeing a critter way bigger than your standard cow. The second man was a professional photographer (remember the cameras he was carrying). He wasn't used to seeing the decomposing remains of anything, and was so grossed out he threw up all over the beach. The third man was blind, and also an incurable optimist. He didn't know what was on the beach, but in his head it was the most beautiful scene in the world (just like the last stretch of beach had been the most beautiful scene in the world).

I actually don't think this one was as hard as last week's edition. I may have to step my game up a bit.
