Wait, that's it? Seriously? The solution seems to be ... I dunno, lacking. Weird.

Does the camera lens show something different than the person without the camera saw?

Is the lens cap still on?

Is the first man also blind or have an vision problem?

This one was fairly undramatic, probably too much so. Not to worry, there will be another one next week. I've got a few stranger ones in mind to try, but I don't have the bugs quite worked out of them yet.

Well, keep in mind, this wasn't a "how'd they do it," or "what's with the crazy mystery." It was more of a, "how do you explain the seeming incongruity between how the dudes react."

I kind of dug it as a different type of these things.

In other words: freaking ingrate hippie.

I just can't stop looking for the non-obvious solution; maybe it's all the literature, poetry, and film noir I love, but I just can't see the obvious.

Ha.

No.

I think I was just a bit shocked that Luke gave up the answer so quickly, really. No one really ever made any guesses on the situation that brought them together; once the third occupation was guessed Luke spilled the beans on the story. It seems that the riddle wasn't the situation the three men found themselves in, but what was their occupations. Or, Luke was on his way out the door for a date and didn't feel like herding us along the goose chase anymore...
