I remember when gas was $0.94 a gallon and cigs were $1.50 for a pack of camels in the early 90's
First tank of gas I ever bought included a carton of cigarettes for less than $25 mid-90's. Now, you need to throw a 1 in front of that, but hey, inflation is in check.

I think in '92, when I first started driving, gas was 85¢ and cigs were $1.50. I remember thinking that the price went up to the $1.50-$2/gal range fairly quickly after that, too, but I distinctly remember like a week in '98? '99? when suddenly prices dropped back below $1 for like a week -- at least in Champaign -- for the first time since I got my license. Maybe that didn't happen. Maybe I was on drugs. I don't really remember.I remember when gas was $0.94 a gallon and cigs were $1.50 for a pack of camels in the early 90's
