Mather seems to have the versatility of a Mark DeRosa. If he keeps up this production, Baker could become a valuable trade chip before the deadline... Phillies or Red Sox? What is Utley's health status?

It'd be great if Darwin Barney's OBP was a different number than his batting average.
Somewhere Dusty Baker is looking at that exact same stat line and saying "Now there's a guy who won't clog the base paths!".

:-( MLB.tv isnt working on my work computer for some reason (it worked yesterday) ohwell I'll have to watch Garza's goatee when i get home. Was he still pitching in the 4th when the 3 runs were scored against us? Also saw 2 throwing errors by Barney in the same inning. Note to the wise... dont let him play SS.

Ha ha I wont. I like Barney a lot... at 2nd base. It also looks like he missed a grounder and "deflected it to center field" according to Gameday, I'll have to see for myself when I watch later but I can only hope it was really out of range for him and not what should have been an easy ground out.

OMG! Mlb.tv decided to start working! Only after Garza has probably left the game though... maybe it doesnt like his goatee. We shall see if it screws up again if Reed Johnson comes into play.
Edit: Nevermind Garza is still on the mound. I just assumed since its like the 5th inning.
