Haha, I always kind of figured that MLB.TV was biased. They're run by one of those guys who believes a guy should always be clean shaven...

Nice to see Sori hitting for power. I have thought over the last few years that he needs to be a DH (all "worst OF in baseball" jokes aside). A few years ago when he was hurt and then had the All-Star break, he came back and killed it. I still think it's because his knees had time to rest.
It's nice to see him hitting the way he's hitting now, no doubt. Hopefully Sveum will look past the size of the contract and give him plent of rest during the season.

Also, let me be the first to go on the record that if Darwin Barney hits .440 this season I'll be ok with him giving Starlin a day off here and there.

Very true, however if he allows 2 runs on 2 errors I will be sorely confused at where I stand on the matter.

Joe Mauer double! Dude is on fire!

He's close to attaining that single-most impressive, career defining feat for a hitter: the Spring Training Cycle.

Oh sike, he got pulled for Brett Jackson. I guess Sveum isn't interested in making history.

The 60-day DL takes you off the 40-man, right?

Tomorrow, Marcos Mateo goes to the 60-day DL.

Very solid day for the offense. Power and nice base hits, walks and some solid base running.
