Cubs Fact:

Billy Jurges went 9 years and 22 days between homers he hit as a member of the Cubs: August 2, 1938 to August 24, 1947, and both were hit at New York's Polo Grounds.

It would be interesting to know where he hit the homers...were they down the foul lines or did he Campy it and sneak one past the CF?

The Polo Grounds is still my favorite stadium of all time.

What it doesn't say is that he did hit 23 homers in the years in between, they were all just when he was with the Giants. In fact he hit 6 (!) in one year. No way Campana could ever do that...
