either way, it seems fairly stupid to make that comment right before the playoffs. I'm not sure on his timing why he'd say that now?

So teams can save their pocket change the rest of the year and make him a good offer.Maybe it's a ploy to get the Brewers in gear to pony up some money.. maybe there's been some internal talks and he doesn't feel like they'll re-sign him.. maybe he just can't wait to come on over to the "right side of the Cubs/Brewers rivalry".
