If you don’t come away from watching this video loving Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, something is wrong with you.
Sound on:
Come for @Mtrubisky10 on da mic.
Stay for “Jon Gruden’s” pep talk.#DaBears pic.twitter.com/btda8ddpDA— Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) December 27, 2017
This is 4 minutes, 10 seconds of great stuff from Trubisky, who shows off the kind of leadership teams dream on when they draft a player they believe to be their franchise quarterback. Trubisky is out there talking up and encouraging his linemen, mixing it up with Cleveland Browns defenders, chatting up the officials, and soaking in the Mark Sanchez experience.
Seriously. With the Jon Gruden impersonation? Come on! It’s a cherry on top from Sanchez, whose role as QB3/Trubisky whisperer/mentor/de facto assistant quarterbacks coach/hype man shouldn’t be overlooked in the grand scheme of things.
Highlights have been few and far between for the Bears this season, but Trubisky’s growth and development seem to have pointed the arrow in the right direction going into 2018 … and I can’t wait.
