...ok..keep the hope, bud!! After all, you ARE a Cubs fan!!
If your name is "still love the cubs"...why does it sound like you really...um..don't??? just sayin'.
Last thing from me: I feel like this is what a good number of Cubs games are going to be like this year. Good starting pitching, little run support. If they do have the lead, bullpen will likely blow it. Two best pitchers in the BP lost the game today. When we have other guys coming in, it can only be worse.
Still going to love this team though. Unfortunately.
Well I'm taking off of work so that I can watch the team on opening day. I do love the team and I will always be watching. I try to be realistic about what I see but I am not giving up hope.
I love the new front office and we are only going up from here.

It's also nice because it's in the moment (and because for most of the time, there's still a chance to win - which makes the reactions all the more .... well, "fun" is the wrong word, but something like that).I gotta tells you folks, I appreciate the hyperbolic insanity of the game thread much, much more than I enjoy reading the comments on the EBS post. Much more honest swearing here. You peeps are tops.

Yeah it is fun because we are all living in same irrational, over-reactive state of being. We are all cheering, swearing, and heart broken at the same time. It is the best part of the game day threads. It's also nice because it's in the moment (and because for most of the time, there's still a chance to win - which makes the reactions all the more .... well, "fun" is the wrong word, but something like that).
