So week one ends today and there are a couple of close matchups and somethings we've learned. Final results can be posted here after the evening games are done. But we can also start to discuss what we have learned and vent about how some of our players "crapped their pants"

For me:
  • My team will live and die by my big three starters and bullpen (Justin V, King Felix, Adam W, David R, Jonathon P)
  • I see that most of us have a player or two that doesn't get a lot of AB, it will be interesting to watch the waiver wire as some players make a splash and take over as starters
  • I hate that I drafted Kerry Wood, I want to like him but he's really close to being dropped.
  • Brendan Bosch you need to step up and do something

Yeah it happens one year I had the second highest points in a league but had a losing record because 75% of the games my opponent had a career week, the joys of head to head leagues

I think my team's offense out performed itself this week, so we'll see what happens. It'll be interesting to see what everyone's scoring is at after a full week of games. Happy to be in the top half as of right now, though.

I can't believe it looks like I'm going to lose by 9 points.

Yeah that was a sick day, and hard to see that kind of day again.
It will be interesting to watch the offensive points vs. pitcher points after a full week. This was a sick week for pitching

Mike Minor laid an egg this week, and two of m other starters didn't get a start. Given that, I'm not too unhappy with my team right now. Zito and Westbrook both have a shot at two starts this week, so I could be in for a big score, or for a complete disaster.

Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, and Clay Bucholtz had the worst week... they combined to score 16 points... 16 points... They had better show up to play this week or one(or more) of them might find themselves on the bench...

If you go to the main page of the league, then to playoffs, the tiebreaks on the side are hilarious to read since everyone is either 1-0 or 0-1. There's one 12 team tie that was broken.

I don't know what all the complaining is Samrdzija got me 52 points and I had 328 overall. Now that the highlight of my season is over I can at least say this week. Suck it bitches. Did I do that right Katie?

I lost by 3.5 points. Frikkin Mark Melancon got me negative 21 points for the week, and he's a reliever!
