I am a Des Moines area guy and think it would great to have a Bleacher Nation night with the iCubs.
A few GrainBelts with a burger basket and tots at the High Life Lounge and then head over to the park.
I hear they have a new Bud area where for like $200 or something you get a table, free Bud and food for the game.
Anyone interested?

I'll give this idea a mention in my Daily article for tomorrow morning. Hopefully you guys can pull something together and set the trend for later events in Iowa or in other Cubs' farm team cities later this summer.

The game might not be as good, but I know Peoria is a lot closer for Chicago people, and I'll be headed down for at least one game this year. Anyone want to try and find a game vs a stacked team down there?

I'm in! I might be able to get a deal on tickets since I work with the Iowa Cubs quite a bit. I've also thought it would be fun to rent the tailgater that sits out front. All the beer and food you want. Let's make it in May if possible so that it might be a little warmer. A Friday night would be cool for the fireworks. Assuming I'm sober enough to watch them.

TWC just swing by DM when you're in Chicago!
My Chicago trip will be a Chicago>Kentucky>Chicago trip. I doubt I'll ever make it west of 294.

I may be up for it. I need no booze though. I might actually be in Johnston for a training through work on Friday the 18th (?) of May, I think. Otherwise I have some friends that live in nearby towns that I am sure I could stay at.
This would be my first time at this park. I did go to Sec Taylor Stadium, like 20+ years ago. It's always nice to visit a new ballpark.
