All thanks to you, Jose Bautista and all the other bat flippers in the Major Leagues, America’s youngest generation is learning to play baseball the wrong way:

If he didn’t take the time to flip his bat, he could have legged that single out into a triple. It’s one thing to disrespect the tradition and honor of the game by flipping your bat, but when the celebratory act also limits your production on the field, you know something wrong.
But it get’s even worse, because this young prospect’s celebration didn’t end there. Once the batter got to first base, he began dancing provocatively and violently threw his helmet at the first base coach, as if to say “I don’t need any of your decades of experience, I can do this myself.”

At this rate, and before too long, these young players might actually begin to enjoy themselves and the game of baseball.
And that’s not something we can’t stand for.
