It's a theoretically national broadcast today, unless you're not in the right region to see the game, in which case I'm fairly certain even MLB.tv is going to black you out today. It's really unbelievable how broken the blackout rules for MLB are.

Now Im just upset. I live in the city of Chicago not 10 miles from Wrigley and I am getting the Yankees/Angels Broadcast on Fox. How fucking rediculous is that.

Edit: Or perhaps I am just retarded and didnt realize there was a rain delay. Nevermind then, nothing to see here.

Unbelievable is a good word. Other include antiquated, anachronistic, obsolete, antidiluvian, prehistoric, primordial, old-fangled and fusty. All good words.

Of the three games on TV right now, none occur in stadiums I can reach without a plane. This is garbage and it's putrid. Capital P. Capital U. Capital TRID. Putrid.

The FOX tv contract with MLB better be worth enough to make-up for all of the lost broadcast revenue from games that are blacked out. If it's not, MLB got screwed monetarily at the expense of screwing over fans (who are willing to spend money).

Also, I'm never referring to these as National Broadcasts again. They're not. These are regional games force-fed to out-of-market viewers. Dumbest business model ever.

Yeah. If we're lucky, it will be just long enough that Fox loses broadcast rights and we can all watch it. I'm rooting for a night game.

A Cubs win either way--night or day---. I'll take it. And yes....Foxfuck should not be allowed to be the boss of us! How is it they are allowed to exercise control like that anyway?

Without sounding too damn serious, this is a highly important game. It will give some sense of this team's play capability for beating tough teams (at least as so identified) as well as convey expectations about stringing wins --against tough teams again--and under pressure by a relatively "new" Cubs team. One could say Theo& Co's signature on this team is on the line.
------just some rambling thought.

If the Cubs can win today or tomorrow, I'll be very pleased.

Nice play by Castro. That was the same play that he had an error on is Shark's first start. He did it MUCH better this time.

He is very good at making adjustments, I have to give him that.

I'm a little more greedy Brett. I'd like wins both days....but would like a win more today to see if it does something to the deadbirds' mentality....mañana.
