It's a theoretically national broadcast today, unless you're not in the right region to see the game, in which case I'm fairly certain even MLB.tv is going to black you out today. It's really unbelievable how broken the blackout rules for MLB are.
Unbelievable is a good word. Other include antiquated, anachronistic, obsolete, antidiluvian, prehistoric, primordial, old-fangled and fusty. All good words.
Of the three games on TV right now, none occur in stadiums I can reach without a plane. This is garbage and it's putrid. Capital P. Capital U. Capital TRID. Putrid.
The FOX tv contract with MLB better be worth enough to make-up for all of the lost broadcast revenue from games that are blacked out. If it's not, MLB got screwed monetarily at the expense of screwing over fans (who are willing to spend money).
