Hooray, it's no longer an off-day. Now we have nothing to loathe but the fear that the Cubs will lay another egg.

Josh Johnson has struggled so far this year. May that continue. Please.

Hoping for a pitchers duel! I have Dempster and Johnson on one of my fantasy teams. So the game will probably be 11-15.

Leaving for ballpark now. Look for the drunk white guys in the Cubs' jerseys behind the Marlins dugout.

Same here. I nearly bought the shittiest beer on the shelf so I could literally taste bitterness from start to finish. Decided to go with an IPA, savoring the fine and pleasant misery of wonderfully bitter hops.

LaHair's spot in the order makes me wonder if his back is bothering him. Clev's spot makes me think he's ready to pounce on Johnson's fastball and Svuem knows it or has seen it in BP. I also speculate (wildly) that Clev's go-the-other-way approach makes him a nice fit between Stewart/LaHair.

I wouldn't mind winning an alternate Marlins jersey in a free raffle or something. Like a Z or Infante one (former Cubs!). They're fun.

I can see some reason to cluster lefties and righties (try and gain an advantage early against the starter), but like I said in my post, it makes less sense when you've got a starter (Johnson) who's probably limited by pitches/innings. It also makes less sense when you bury them at the bottom of the order.

Also, is it about time to end the whole Soriano cleanup experiment? He's got exactly 0 extra base hits.

Fucking fuck. The game switches to CSN+ at 7:30 because of the Blackhawks.

That sucks, as I presume not all Chicago folks get CSN+?
