Byrd is so awesome
Byrd is so great,
I am so glad
that Dale bats him 8.

His average is under .100
but I'm sure for not long
Today Byrd will hit for the cycle,
including his first dong.

Joe Mather is not good
and should stay on the pine,
just because he had the best spring training out of anyone else on the team does not mean that he should get the chance to play for a player that is hitting .070 and bitches about playing day games while playing for a team that he doesn't give a shit about.

Haikus with the Cubs,

Bottom of the 1st today: DeJesus strikeout, Barney double, Castro single (Barney advances to third). LaHair 3-run HR, Soriano popout, Stewart single, Soto walk, Byrd flailing strikeout to end the inning with two men on.

Sign #5784 that the Cubs really suck this year... They're being put to rhyme and haiku. That said, keep up the good work all.

Let's settle down, only the first inning. This is going to be a high-scoring game. Plus, we have Byrd in the line-up...nothing to worry about.

I only wish they were new ways to lose. Unfortunately, they look like the same old losses.
