How long are we gonna give Ian Stewart to figure it out? Am I impatient wanting him to improve his BA of_.174 IMMEDIATELY and if not wanting him to take a seat for a bit?

At least this whole season I would think. Maybe not if he falls into Marlon Byrd level of suckdom (as in 0.70 land).

Gotta let Stewart play. If he can figure out his problems at the plate to go along with that stellar D, I think he's worth some patience.

I'm liking what I see from Bowden so far. Victorino torched one, other than that he looked tough.

I agree. I just feel uncomfortable every time he comes to the plate. He needs to ride the pine until he can get back on track.

Hard to get back on track without at bats, though.

Feels to me like Byrd felt. Automatic out. Then he got traded and I rejoiced. Want to see something a little less permanent at 3B soon.

Hard to argue this. But a virtual guaranteed out is not helping a struggling offense.

Doesnt help he has no on hitting behind him. Not seeing too many good pitches.

I wouldnt pull him completely pull him. Start with a platoon or something. Still give him some AB but not play him every game. As to the previous comment. I felt by watching yesterdays game that Maholm enduced a lot more groundballs where as tonight we are just striking out by swinging at shitty pitches.

Maybe so. I just wonder if Phillies fans would say the same thing about last night, you know?
