Why do people like Castillo so much? Cannon for an arm, but man is that an ugly swing.

Its the kids first game up from Iowa. Wouldn't get too excited about his "ugly swing" yet. Watched him a couple time in Iowa this year and he's a player for sure.

I call em like I see em. Not claiming any past knowledge of the guy, but if he keeps up that uppercut I'll be praying for Soto to come off the DL

Wow, Barney nearly looked like Matt Holliday on that slide!

Can we give Barney a 1/2 RBI for that slide?

I hear ya. Ill attribute it to trying to do too much...as long as it doesnt become the norm.

I saw some positives to this game. I Liked how Maine looked alot, and except for one mistake to Ruiz I also liked what I saw from Bowden. Wells is headed back down to AAA to try to figure out if he can remember how to pitch (It really looked like he did that last outing), but thats O.k. because we'll be getting Dempster back soon. I don't think Campana will be comming off the bench tommorow with yet another legit hit, and a run scored. Hate to see em lose, but they didn't really look that bad losing today (except Wells). I'm not saying they put together a ton of good at bats, but they didn't commit an error, or have any stupid running plays. I can't wait to see this team in a series against a non-contender. The Ricketts family should sue MLB for their April schedule, what a way to welcome Theo to the senior circuit.

New T-shirt idea: 2012 Cubs - Crap on a Cracker!

That was a rather depressing game.
Please don't feed the psychos.

Wells looked decent until he deconstructed. If they had some consistent offense it wouldn't have been that bad
