I love how Garza started walking around the mound before the ump even called it strike 3. The man is confident today. Gotta love it. Faced the minimum so far.

I've defended Joe Mather's place on this team since Spring Training. Thanks, Joe for making me look good. More than the home run, though, I'm impressed with his .429 OBP.

Where's Brett's photoshop of SJ with the cape?

Just tweeted it. It was a hasty one.

It was a hasty one.

Sometimes, as is the case here I believe, those are the funniest.

I kind of thought of it as, "he's running so fast and so excitedly, that it spun around a bit."

I also thought of it as, "if I don't do it off the shoulder, you can't see the 'S'."

Is there some reason these guys aren't identifying that he has thrown the Maddux come back sinker to about 90 percent of batters once he gets 2 strikes? Make the adjustments guys.

Does Ramirez make that play that Stewart just did? I'm not so sure, and Stewart did it looking easy. I just wish he could get a little more luck on the BABIP.
