CSN dicks me in the dick again. I won't be able to watch, but hopefully the Cubs win another series tonight anyways. How great would it be for this team to take back to back series from the Cards and the Phillies after the way they started the year?

It's time for Volstad to get a win... he's WAY overdue. I'm predicting a 4-2 Cubs win. (Yeah, okay, maybe I shouldn't have had a beer at lunch time, but those waitresses at the Tilted Kilt can be soo persuasive!)

Pretty sad that we have to be at least somewhat intoxicated to believe the Cubs' have a chance of winning a game by two runs.

Don't be sad... she was REALLY cute! [grin] The sad part is, she is a PACKERS fan!

**BREAKING** - Volstad just threw a sinker that didn't sink!

This is a pretty rotten matchup on paper, you guys.

Eamus Catuli nevertheless.

So ending the month by taking 2 of 3 from the Cardinals and 3 out of 4 from Philadelphia would be quite nice. Make it happen Cubs!

Haha, you must have missed that one. That joke's been festering around here for a while...

I see we are resting our best players for the 4th game again. I can only hope that Mather doesn't lose his positive attitude while being benched for a piece of shit.

Eh. There's always an argument to be made that certain players produce better when they only play sporadicly (i.e., if they played every day, the league would "figure them out").

I have a vague sense of relief and gratitude.
