Volstad and Garza look like they field on skates.

A couple garbage hits and the Phillies are in business. Sigh.

Fucking shit. This game better not end up being close, or I'm going to be fucking steamed about that top of the first.

Volstad hasn't really done much wrong this inning, and yet he's going to give up at least one run, and throw a billion pitches. Bad fucking luck.

Doesn't make it right, but I feel like I should say something about how many breaks the Cubs have been getting from the umps lately.

If I was Volstad, I'd be pissed. Ground ball pitcher's gotten three ground balls and two strikeouts, should be through two scoreless innings already...

Well, that at bat was terrible by Volstad.

Can I be honest? That was the first thing I thought when that DeJesus play happened. Then again, how many of the calls the Cubs have gotten were flat out obviously wrong? That Campana steal a few games ago, and the DeJesus play at the plate in the same game. That's all I've got.

Volstad works SO slowly when he's got men on. It's Trachsel-like.

Closest thing to a legit hit they've had so far...
