I've noticed a couple of owners haven't been playing though. Was wondering if there was a point where the commissioner would get involved with setting their lineups or possibly finding replacement owners. One dude has been holding on to the Carl Crawford dream all season, with Andy Pettitte already in the starting rotation too. Another guy is jumping the gun on Justin Berg in his bullpen (and actually has one of the best rosters too).

I noticed the guy I faced last week kept the DL'd Ryan Dempster in his rotation, despite having two active pitchers on his bench. I don't want to sound too critical... there might be some strategy there... but I'd hate to think that we already have abandoned teams that we'll be playing out the season with.
If there isn't a team rescue plan in place, maybe we ought to start setting one up.

Baseball Bloggers - Has had Carl Crawford and Andy Pettitte in starting lineup all season. No roster changes in two months.
Bummer.

That's not cool. I figured both of those guys would be dedicated owners. We're definitely going to have to think about lining up some replacements.PatandRons - Starting three pitchers that haven't played yet this season. Over a month since last lineup change.

You will be hard pressed to find 24 super dedicated owners (hell, that is hard enough to do in the MLB). I know I am not super active, but I try, I guess that counts for something! That's not cool. It was tough to say no to because I really like Cano, but trading Tulo was the hold up. I don't have a backup SS, and I took a quick glance at all the free agent shortstops and they stink (which is probably why you're starting Ryan). With my current roster, I just can't get rid of Tulo. If he gets hurt, I'm screwed.
What would it take to get the trade done I sent over to you yesterday?

I dm'd Justin on twitter yesterday and he hasn't responded. So it looks like he's either forgotten about his team or just doesn't care.PatandRons - Starting three pitchers that haven't played yet this season. Over a month since last lineup change.
