Is Rafael Dolis the closer of the future? And in future, I mean by the All-Star break.

Welcome, rpd. I think he'd probably get the first shot (even over Wood) if Marmol got hurt/was traded/was released.

I'm not sure I expect the latter two things to happen this year, though.

If anything has become painfully obvious in the first 4 games of the season(other than the bullpen's issues), it is that Marlon Byrd is not a good fit in the current Cubs lineup. I understand that Hoyer and Epstein are trying to find the right trade for Byrd and it probably won't happen until July, but I'm ready for Brett Jackson to PERMANENTLY arrive in Chicago.

As a newbie here I just wanted to relate my feelings as a Cub Fan of over 60 yrs.
I am so ready for a true rebuild/makeover of this team. The idea of a truly competitive team and not just a once in a while playoff team is a goal I pray for.Bring on the kids and any missing piece free agent. GO CUBS

Am I crazy, or does it feel like this team can win if things start clicking??? It seems like a couple of lucky breaks, like three or four Texas leaguers and a home run away from stringing together multiple wins in a row? New to the posting as of 5 minutes ago, long time follower of the website!

Thanks for all the hard work Brett (and Luke on his minor league reports)!! I frequent the site so I figured I should jump aboard the message board. Like following on Twitter and Facebook wasn't enough.
