I would really like to see them rough up Bailey in this first inning!

Haha, no, it actually helps it, just not very much. He's slugging a mere .794.

Yeah, in the first inning, second inning, third inning, fourth inning.... then when his replacement enters, the Cubs can continue roughing up the Reds pitching in the fifth inning, sixth inning, seventh inning and eighth inning... In the ninth inning, the Cubs should take it easy on them and save up their bats for the next game...

This start time is excellent. A little mid afternoon break then it's full-blown study mode for the next 8 days.

You too? Go HAWKS!!!

I blew off my 1130 class to catch the start! Go cubs Go HAWKS!!

It's not like I really need an excuse to sit in front of the TV, drink beer, and eat left over pizza, but if I did, day games are always the perfect one.

If they changed the rules so that every time you grounded into a douple play, your team automatically gets two runs, Geovany Soto would be a perennial MVP candidate.

It's weird that baseball started at 9:30 this morning, but I'm not complaining. I see it as another opportunity to eat bacon and watch TV.

Didn't D. Lee have the same problem a few years ago? I believe he was on track to set the record for grounding into the most double plays ever.
